
In week 8 I had presented Head Room & Lead Room. Head room is the distance between the persons head and top frame, in order to get the most optimal shot it is recommended that you get the persons eyes in the top corner third of the frame. Lead room is the ‘dramatic energy’ which is being channeled by the actor, for example, the actor is reading a book, in order to capture the ‘energy’ from the person looking on the right side, it’s best to have their face on the left side of the frame and not the right side as seen on the bottom.
